The B&B is surrounded by farmland with many accessible pathways. To get to some locations it would be necessary to wear clothes at the start. There plenty of places to walk naked in the countryside including to some beaches. Others beaches where it is possible to be clothes free are just a short car drive away. We can advise on places to go and provide maps or if you prefer we can take you on a guided naked walk. See our Naked Walks pages. There are also many places to visit clothed. The history of the south west coast stretches back 6000 years. Stone Circles, Iron Age Forts, early Christian chapels and tower houses are to be found throughout the region and almost all are free to visit. We have a great interest in Archaeology so can tell you about the “out of the way” places to visit. Since 2009 Galloway has been home to the UK’s first Dark Sky Park. If viewing the night sky interests you click on this link to see what else we do here - Galloway Astronomy Centre. Whatever your interests there is something for everyone in this lovely part of Scotland. Click on links below for more information: * Golf (St Medan, Wigtown) * Cycling (bikes can be hired locally) * Bird Watching (Wigtown for Ospreys, RSPB at Mull of Galloway) * Early Christian History (St Ninian's Cave / Chapel) * Archaeology (Barsalloch Fort, Drumtroddan Stones, Torhouse Stone Circle, Whithorn Story) * Gardens (Garlieston House, Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan) * Books (Wigtown - Scotland's Book Town) * Aviation (Dumfries Aircraft Museum, Wartime Airfields) * Monreith Animal Park * Museums (Whithorn Story, Newton Stewart, Stranraer) Other links: * Whithorn * Isle of Whithorn * Port William * Wigtown
